Almost is probably the correct word...

Have known for several weeks that I wouldn't be able to get there on Sunday without an act of God and I don't mean Damian...

Have been hoping in the last week that the snow and ice may somehow come to my rescue, it almost did...

For only the third time in 25 years and its because of the 25th anniversary episode, I'm working on a Sunday...

Absoloutely nothing I can do about it, except say sorry, its beyond my control. Now you will have two whole hours of the Big Dog without me interjecting and asking him stupid questions and ruining his punchlines. Hope you all have a fantastic time at the Convention, hopefully I'll make it next year.

See you next year.

Have to own up to remembering the first Mark Fowler...that's how old I am!!

Have to also admit to not seeing EE for a few years now, apart from the odd Sunday omnibus to help me keep up to speed with the cockney banter.  Problem is, if I were to use any of the cockney banter at the convention I'll probably get a punch on the nose Smiley

Look forward to seeing you next year instead Adam.

You've been there 25 years and they're making you work on a Sunday? It's disgraceful! You'd think 25 years would count for something, right? Maybe you should quit and become a full-time photographer and work your own hours Wink

Plus, I was hoping we could all tie you up and torture you till you told us who killed Archie! Wink You'll be missed!

Ah the big Archie secret - funny how everyone you talk to thinks its someone completely different! Been some big storylines this year, and some fab ones recently so no wonder they expect work on a Sunday! Sure I work on a Sunday so far is far  Tongue lol

I always feel so out of it when you folks talk about these TV programmes, since I have never seen any of them. Twenty five yrs ago, when the programme must have started, I was in Saudi Arabia, not much UK TV available there  and then here in USA. Even so I don't seem to catch much on TV except BBC World News and the odd nature programme.
Anyway Adam, that's two of us who won't be there so we can commiserate across the pond, perhaps I may even make it next year.
