Hi,
This year for me was a series of firsts! i had never been on a tube, i had never been to London on my own which doesnt sound much but to the geographicaly challenged like me you will understand my nerves, and of course my first time at the convention. Huh? so all was a little fraught in my head anyway!

Until i got there, and wow  Grin i arrived friday lunchtime and left Sat afternoon and loved every second of it, my god you guys work so hard to organise such an event, thankyou so much, next year im stopping longer! Grin

I was also extremely well looked after by a few true gentlemen who made sure i was ok and having fun Thankyou Joe Matt and ROy you guys are fabulous.

I feel really quite privaliged to have made the friends ive made and put faces to the names from the forum and Facebook.

Thankyou all  partybeer

I totally understand about the whole being in London on your own thing!! I was really nervous but it was no problem once I arrived (apart from all the tube closures freaking me out and making me late!) It was a great week-end though. I now need to sleep for a week to recover!  partybeer

You're very welcome Amanda. It was a real pleasure to meet you and to talk in the bar that very long night; I felt really sorry for the guy I woke up and sent to his bed. I managed to get 2 hours sleep before I was up and at it again for the saturday night party, even though my wingman stayed in his bed Wink . I'm still in need of more sleep even though I was in my bed and totally out of it by 8 last night!

Lynsey, it was also our pleasure to meet and socialise with you and Niki. You two truly rock and you inspire me with the energy you put into applying the lessons taught down there

HI guys,  it never dawned on me to see who was going to be at the convention - I was there from Saturday to Monday and was on my poor wee own the whole time (stayed in my room at the hotel and read a book!  Still had a fantastic time).  Next time I will be more social, and it'd be great if we could have another Scotland get together this year at some point.
