Backdrop/Cannon Speedlight 430EXII/Wireless Triggers/Video Light Etc.

Apologies to all regarding my terminology. I am relatively new to photography and this is my first post here!

I am looking to buy second-hand or advice on where I can buy:

A basic backdrop set-up (The stand, Black and/or white backdrops, the necessary clips etc.)
Canon Speedlight 430EXII (currently on Amazon at £200)
Wireless trigger to work with the above and my EOS450D
A 'video light' or similar. (I was blown away at Doug Gordons light at the convention recently but at around $300? Is there a substitute?)
Also Jessica Pavlics Boudoir Book and Jerry Ghionis 'Gorgeous' book would be great![/li][/list]


I am considering starting my own business so, like most people, have limited budget.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated (even if its a polite 'Dream on!').

i usually buy my studio equipment from Karlu photographic, lou and karen are very helpful and will offer great advice too
