The 2 foot deep snow / ice covering my garden and driveway (in Germany, half way between Cologne and Frankfurt) had just started to thaw yesterday for the first time this year, and then refroze when another two inches of snow fell last night .... the roads at least are clear, and it looks like a Christmas postcard around here, but I've had enough of the white stuff !!  This is the worst winter that I have ever experienced anywhere, and the worst for over 31 years here.
