But well worth going, loads going on, a good day out in all. Met loads of people  partybeer

Richi & Jinx were having a comp who could sign up the most new members  Grin Score was 5 - 5 when we left.

A really good day, enjoy those who still have to go  partybeer partybeer

Think I might go on the Sunday next year, it was very busy yesterday although quietened off around 4ish just as we were leaving.  There were some very good deals to be had, so I blew all last years profits  Cry although gotta a lot of new toys  Grin.  It was good to finally meet folk from the forum, everyone was friendly on the stand  partybeer partybeer.  Wasn't too sure why there was a guy stood there in his undies, is he a forum member?

forgot to ask. Can you buy canon equipment there.

Cheers, gary

Gary, I was buying Nikon and there were some excellent deals.  I priced up my shopping list on the net before going down, including some websites that I wouldn't risk buying from.  I managed to save considerably on everything on my list  Grin.  Jacobs and Camera World were both competing pound for pound, I tried 1st Cameras but they said they weren't even trying to compete so didn't even look at my list.

Just had to look up 'abstemious'  Grin.  I bought a D700, 24-70 and SB900.  I was going to buy the Metz or Nissin equivalent but the Nikon was only £40 more and seemed a much better unit.  Also bought a new monitor with a calibrating thingy and one of those flash holding brackets that I saw Mick with (great to meet you and Shaz by the way partybeer partybeer).
