i have four sim cards (please don't ask !)
is there a way i can put all of the numbers into one "directory" instead of having numbers and contacts "all over the place" ?
many thanks in anticipation.

You could copy the sim card information to your phone directory.  Do it for each one and all the info will be on one phone.  If you have more than one phone you could do the same for each one.  In most phones there is an option to copy from sim cards somewhere in the contacts menu.

Hope this helps.

Dave, if the phone is modern enough to be able to connect and sync to your computer (windows or mac) then you can use the contacts programme (windows contacts on vista not sure on mac) included with the machine to catch all the contacts in one place and whenever you change sim's in your phone, it can sync them across cards. You'll need to RTFM for your phone to see how it does it though

Oh yeah I forgot about that, so much simpler.  I think I slipped back about ten years technology wise for a moment.  Don't listen to me, listen to Matt, I think I have been watching too much Ashes to Ashes! Cheesy
