We've decided this will be the first to be offered for sale. We need a quick sale so whoever offers the quickest turnaround will be sucessful.  We've been looking around and second hand these are scarse. New they are around £1000 plus so we would like around the £700 or best offer. The lens is completely unmarked.

My advice is to get a quote from a dealer.

They tend to offer good prices on pro equipment, with free pickup and cash transfer same day it's received.

It also saves any costs for despatch and card processing fees (eBay and Paypal are extornionate).

But a dealer will never pay anywhere near what we can get selling privately, and if we can't sell it privately we might as well keep it.

How do you know unless you get a quote???

Im my experience they tend to offer about the same once costs have been accounted for.

No harm in trying is there?

Try a few more....

With all due respect LCE would never have offered you a competitive quote.

Andy M mentioned T4 before and I've used them too (very fair prices).

Hi guys, thanks for all these suggestions but we do not want to sell to or through a company. We are quite happy to sell it privately and if ever we sold to a company it really would be a last resort and one local to us, please no more suggestions! This is just a private sale ad, on here.  Thanks  partybeer Smiley

Tracy

I gave you the details of a good guy yesterday, selling privatley either goes well and quickly or slow and is a pain.

Money is better in your pocket if what you were explaining yesterday is a reality.

I wish you all the best with it
