I asked my friend to make some Posing Boxes for my studio. I was delighted with the results and he is prepared to make them for other photographers too. They are somewhat cheaper than others you can find on the internet and I am very happy with the strength and quality. I have seen similar at 139 plus VAT and 39 plus VAT for the covers.
I attach some pictures of the two sets he made for me.
They would cost you £95 per set of four with washable covers at £20. No VAT.
Although mine are painted white with black covers, the production versions will be black fabric covered with white washable covers.
Please let me know if you have any interest. (I am not on commission I just thought it was an excellent opportunity for setting up your studio when cash is tight)
The sizes of the boxes are approx 30cmx30cm (1 ft square in old money)
Heights are:
10cm (4"), 25cm (10"), 42cm (16 1/2"), 68cm 27"
Hole in top for carrying, can put tall one on side on top of others as a posing table.
Please let me know if you are interested.
Kind Regards
Graham

Can you post a couple of photos where you've used them?

Thinking about getting them, white boxes with black covers would be more useful I think as most of my stuff is on white with an occasional black. What about p&p?

OK Matthew Smiley I am heading off to the studio now and I'll give Eddie a call when it gets to be a sensible time of day. I need to get down there early though as it's the Tour of Britain Cycle race sprint section passing through our village this morning and there is no street parking (too much information I hear you say)

What are the blocks made from Graham?
1/4 inch plywood. makes a handy alternative to my stepladder too (and I am not light!). They have holes in the top to make it easier to carry. My set is painted white with black covers but I think Eddie is making the new ones black soft material covered with white covers.... Hope that helps.
