One off t-shirt printer

I've had a few "one off" t-shirts done in the past but the quality of the t-shirt itself (often short in the body and on a low-weight fabric) or the quality of the print (iron-on transfers would have been a better bet) are low.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a good quality printer for one-off t-shirts that won't break the bank?

I had a friend who made some for me, incredibly high quality and the printing has never faded and is part of the fabric. However there is usually a minimum order of about 15ish.

Are you literally looking for 1? Or a 1 off design?

I am awaiting delivery of a branded and embroidered polo shirt _ they do one-offs.

The quality of the embroidery is excellent (by the image they sent of my logo)

The cost is un-believeable!!!

I paid £10.95 (including delivery!!) for a heavy polo shirt, logo on front and arm and my website across the back of the shirt. I will dig out the website and post another comment when i receive it (to confirm my endorsement!!)

i think it is a company called penhale, they advertise on ebay, i was recommended by Tracy Willis and other forum members.

Thanks guys. I think I've found what I want - overnight a company that I have purchased t-shirts from before (I wanted some that were long in the body as I'm 6' tall) sent me their latest marketing newsletter http://www.polo-shirts.co.uk/ when I clicked on it I saw they have a sister company that do printing http://www.clothes2order.com/ps_landing.php and they do single shirts.

If anyone is looking for heavy weight and "tall" then Gildan on their shop is the one to go for. I got a batch of them just for general use and was very pleased.

Now that I know they do "one off" shirts that'll do me.


I'll bear in mind the embroidered site. On this occasion it is just for a joke (really one t-shirt) but I don't want to buy rubbish as I'll still wear it after the joke is done.
