Hi there,

I joined up with SWPP three weeks ago at Photovision Kent. I went there from York(!) mainly just to see which society I should join as I set out on a new career in full time portrait and wedding photography and the SWPP won out! Since then I've already squeezed in two seminar days with Adam Alex and John Denton both of which were excellent and I've booked in for four days at the convention. I'm very busy working on branding, buying too much new kit and thinking how on earth am I going to catch up some of the stunning photography out there but I'm assured I'm not alone in thinking like this Smiley

Cheers

Welcome Duncan.

This forum is a great place to learn from the mistakes of others when they were at the stage you're passing through and perhaps post a few of your own to help others learn from at the same time.

As you've found already, there is so much more to having a photographic business than taking pictures (unfortunately).
