As I am presenting two sessions at the 2011 Convention, I thought it was important to introduce myself on the forum. I am most unskilled in self-promotion and I dislike “hype” so I like to think that what I do is best described as “down to earth”.
I have learned through natural history photography many things and I know that each individual gets involved in this kind of photography for many different reasons. By starting off with possibly inexpensive equipment and “close to home” locations like your own garden or local park through to choosing more specialist (possibly more expensive) equipment and travelling to specific “wildlife hotspots”. I hope to inspire and enthuse those who attend my sessions at the 2011 Convention with practical advice and demonstrations.
