I would just like to add my congratulations and thanks to all the organisers involved in such a massive event, plus all the speakers that shared their wonderful ideas and experiences.

I learnt so much (especially in the Business School Days), I not only now feel confident about resigning from my day job, relocating to Dubai and starting up as a photographer there in April - I actually want to do it right now, but I will have to wait and then try to hit the ground running !!!

I just wish that I had done the same sessions last year (2 days Business School, Members Day, two Superclasses and 2 days at the Trade Show) .... I estimate that I have thrown away over 5000 pounds of business in the last year (even as a weekend warrior) through my ignorance and by staying in my comfort zone !!

I also wish that I had been able to stay in the bar each evening and socialise .... but after getting up at 6:00 am every morning to catch the 7:00 am bus from Brentford, it was as much as I could do to head back to the hotel after a snack dinner at 8:30 pm, then flick through my notes from that day, and crash out in bed. Damn, I felt so old last week .... but I will catch up with some more German beer this week, albeit it inferior company !!!

I don't think I'll make it to the convention next year - I will either be rushed off my feet (if I can get the business going) or won't be able to afford the costs of attending, but I have promised myself that I will make every possible effort to come back in 2013 !!

OK, I'm going back to typing up 54 pages of hastily scribbled notes, whilst I still have a chance of remembering and deciphering everything !!

Id just like to add that I had a ball.
First time Id actually attended any Master/Superclasses and am really feeling inspired and geared up for this year.

I didnt know anyone at the gala dinner but met lots of lovely people around the piano later. Apologies for my shameless stalking of Martin the magic piano player and my dreadful singing (shouting?) Im sure noone can remember anyway (can they Tracy?) Loved the harmonica John.

Roll on next years convention.....

I would like to say a huge thanks to all the Joneses and Swpp staff who have done such an amazing job this week. The convention is the best I have been to and there is just so much going on. It is a huge achievement once again and great to catch up with friends old and new. I am sad it is coming to an end but will definitely be putting the dates for next year in the diary.  Off for a rest now before the awards dinner tonight but thank you again, it has been brilliant!

I agree, Bev. With something this big there will always be niggles - you can't please everyone, all the time - but I thought this year's convention was particularly well planned and organised. It was very slick.

On a personal note, I'd too like to thank Phil and Juliet particularly. I phoned the office about 18.00 on the Saturday before the convention to check if I could still submit my 'A' panel. Both Phil and Juliet were still there. They spoke at some length, encouraged me and at 20.45 Phil emailed my to let me know that all images had been received AND THANKED ME!

Awesome care and attention to detail. Awesome friends at convention. Awesome week. Roll on next year.

my brain has turned to MUSH....

Just too much information in such a short period of time.
The last time I attended so many hours lectures was at university more years ago than I care to mention.
Come to think if it I only attended that number of lectures over an entire year not 4 days !!!!

Not helped by too many late nights and a total lack of willpower on my part.

I want to second all the positive feedback above, but I also want to say a belated hello to all the people I didn't manage to run into at the event, I am amazed that there we all were in the one location and I still missed so many people I had hoped to run into.
