Ive just sat down to relax now the children are in bed and would like to write a little note...

During the year i work on the monthly competition (most of you know) and i get to see many AMAZING images, writing that little G in a score box is what my job is all about for me and i LOVE it when people are excited about their scores or are enthousiastic about improving their images. It is really awesome to meet the members at the convention and to hear about what they have been up to throughout the year. the awards dinner is the night where i feel most proud. all the work that goes into the competition by myself, the judges and of course the members is all worth it... and i love hearing how excited people are when they win awards! Unfortunetly this year i was up in my hotel room with the children whilst the awards dinner was going on but i was sat thinking of all the wonderful images and the wonderful people who were recieving their awards and i went to bed so so so happy.

i work with a wonderful team of judges, they are so proffessional, so passionate, reliable, tough as nails and give their time so freely. i would really like to thank you... you all mean so much to me and the support you have given me throughout my last 8 years working for The Societies has been absolutely AMAZING. the competition simply wouldnt happen without you and you are all deeply appreciated.

i also would like to thank Bev and our wonderful team of print handlers this year. i hope you all had a lovely time and learned a lot! you made my life so much easier for those two days and i really really cannot thank you enough...

thankyou to all the members who entered have entered both the monthly competition and 20x16 competitions throughout the year. your images were all amazing and every monthly score and award was truely deserved. i cannot describe the pleasure i get from my job because of you guys.

and finally thankyou to everybody who came to the convention, who shared, learned and socialised.. you are the people who truely make it happen!

My heartfelt thanks once again

SWPP conference = hottest ticket in  town. Thanks to the Jones clan, not just for the invitation to speak, but for your friendship, the banter, the fun and most of all the support

Thank you for your support, not just at the convention but throughout the year. The convention for me was exactly the same as the forum. I didn't see you, but I knew you were there if you were needed. Thanks.  partybeer
