Personally I'd like to officially COMPLAIN about all the incredible work AND organisation
that gets done by Terrie and the rest of the team.

It is no mean feat to organise a monthly comp for 11 months of the year get images posted, sorted and judged. Then to work out the awards and get that done as well.

However I must complain about the fact that I MISSED the print judging on Thursday (even though I was down as a helper)  due to the fact that WE missed our flight from Belfast (long story). Embarrassed It is simply not good enough that the SWPP team did not telepathically realise and get on the phone to Aer Lingus to explain our situation so that the flight would be held for us. Lets face it the SWPP team are able to success in just about everything else.  Tongue

My further gripe is about the standard of entries in the various categories as there are simply far too many outstanding images so someone like me has no chance!!!! Grin
My suggestion for 2011 is that I send in a few images at the start of the year as reference material and then any images that appear to be better must be immediately be disqualified as simply being too good.
 Roll Eyes

Now that my little  Wink fun response is over I can only commend everyone for all the hard work done in 2010 and really look forward to 'raising my game' and producing more images for 2011..

A turely wonderful job by everyone and well deserved winners

What a shame you missed the awards Terrie - I'm sure I read somewhere that Trevor Yerbury loves looking after kids and I'm sure he would have done a quick child-minding session for you  Grin

Thanks for the opportunity with the print handling - it was a great experience and good fun as well - cheers!

Thank you Terrie for allowing us to be part of the print handling team.   I take my hat off to you.   The amount of prints that had to be sorted, judged, recorded and displayed had to be seen to be believed.   Generally we only see the display on the wall and I didn't realise the volume of prints that are sent into the competition.

What a shame that you weren't able to see the recipients receiving their awards.   Maybe next year?

Even when we arrived late on Thursday and missed the print handling everyone was great.
Thanks to Aer Lingus for ther consideration in 'bumping' our original booked flights ----NOT
Thanks to Aer Lingus for not being willing to take our bags when we were literally just a min late
at the check-in because of an accident on the way...NOT

At least we did make it
