Did anyone attend the art p suwansang seminar on pushing the boundaries on the ISO setting?  I wanted to go, but it clashed with something else. Anyone got any "key facts" or notes from this talk?

Cheers

I was also keen but was all "masterclassed-out" so decided to go home. If you want a taste of what ity may have been about, check out his website. I am sure you will see some examples there. In fact that is how I sometimes determined whether a master or superclass was worth it - bu checking out their websites to see what sort of work they produce.

It was excellent, well worth propping the eyes open at the end of a hard 4 days!

What he has achieved combining a modern Nikon camera with Lightroom 3 is nothing short of astonishing. He has a great style and sense of humour, which once the UK crowd had caught onto  Grin made it all the more accessible.

What I found interesting was the number of other masterclass presenters who were sat in the audience and their reaction to some of his techniques, which was all very positive. It's a brave man who shoots a wedding at night or indoors with no flash but it is remarkable what can be done.

His Lightroom 3 work on show here and the earlier seminars was so leading edge that a lot of it hasn't been written up by Adobe yet! In particular I was fascinated by the way he used several graduated filters to create "spotlight" type lighting in a picture, or selective blur using the sharpening/filter possibilities.

For me Art provided some of the best concise post processing seminars I have seen, and I'm really looking forward to his UK workshop tour later this year.

Cheers

I only got the first 25 minutes as I had to leave for my flight home. I would love to have seen it all. Huge attendance at this one.
