I'm looking to buy a canon EOS 1Ds MKIII, in good condition, I'm happy to consider second hand other wise wheres the best place to spend my money? any suggestions?. I will also need lenses.

+1 on MPB

I have bought from and sold to Matt over many years and he is fair in his pricing, accurate in his descriptions and a straight up guy.

Even if there is a 1Ds MKIV, and/or a 5D MKIII around the corner then you are looking at a 3-9 month lead time to availability and a likely £7000 and £2500 price tag on them. It makes a used 1Ds MKIII which is still a good camera for £2900 a good buy, and about £1500-1600 for a 5D MKII a reasonable price as well.

Not sure what lenses you are after but again MPB always have a good selection.

Failing that I'd look at Park Cameras, Mifsuds, and then Ffordes in that order.
