Hello, Phil has also asked me to tell you what my program will be about. It will start out with a brand new eight minute video presentation on DVD titled "Les Images de Claude S. Ayakawa" that was produced for me by Emotion Media in Tulsa Oklahoma, USA featuring many of my national merit award winning images and I am very pleased with it and I hope you will enjoy it too. It will  be followed by my illustrated talk titled "An Eye For The Light" . It will be a brand new program that I had spent a lot of time putting together since last April after I was invited to speak at the 2008 SWPP convention. My program in addition to the topic of creating environmental portraits by seeing and working with light outdoors will also cover how I work with my many different kinds of clients including my high scholl seniors, fitness models and my passion for flower and scenic photography. I will begin my talk on how my love for  music and paintings very early in my life has inluenced me in my photography today. I will also show what I am doing with both Photoshop CS3 Extended as well as Photoshop Elements 4.0 and talk about how I use the internet with my website as well as the one by my local proessional photographic association to promote my business both here in Hawaii and elsewhere. I will also talk about how I use an iPod Touch, a Christmas present I bought myself as a sales tool with it's awesome image dispay. I will also be partiipating at the Mentor me sessions from Friday to  Sunday, January 18th to the 20th and I hope I will have the pleasure of helping many young aspiring photographers at the sessions. I am looking forward to meeting many of you and I hope you  will come up to me and say hello.
