Ive got a cool idea for one haven't seen it done before, need to figure out how to male a motordrive thing to turn the camera though? Hmmm they ain't cheap

You mean to do something like this?

He has a how he did it video on it....he used a motorised telescope mount.  I have taken mine and messed with it a bit, but not done yet.

I was thinking the flashes across the sky were shooting stars, but they're too quick to show on time lapse so they must be planes or satellites.
