Oh yes and they were fine drills.. quality drills.... precision drills!
made by our own hands, in fact from our own hands, after our fingers had been worn to the bone in't mill.

Lobster thermidor aux crevettes with a Mornay sauce garnished with truffle paté, brandy and with a fried egg on top and Spam.

I've just been having a clear out and just binned an old Zip Drive and a load of Zip Disks. I remember paying £16 each for them when I got them and they only hold 100MB each!

It's crazy to think that people give away 1GB USB sticks for free nowadays!

Give it a couple of years and a terabyte will be small and usb will be old skool!

WOW zip drives! i remember that. That giant was wow! Smiley

And Jay iam sorry to dissapoint you Smiley 1TB is already small. Now you need at least 10TB to be safe Smiley. For example i need 50GB for each wedding i do.i need 40-70GB for each fashion shoot i do.this year i needed at least 900GB-1.2TB  for my works Smiley.Currently i use a 2TB external HDD.

I still have my old Dragon 32 in the attic. It used to take all afternoon typing in reams of letters and symbols just to get it do draw a simple snowflake, mobile phone games now have better graphics, and the noise it used to make while the games on cassette tapes loaded was dreadful. Am tempted to get it out and show it to my kids the next time they complain they're bored of their playstation, give them the whole 'when I was your age' lecture. Now I feel old!

My first computer was a commadore 64 and I learned accounting on a commadore pet which only had 32k of memory! That was way back in 1983.
