I booked a double room for 2 adults for the entire convention months ago, but I now have a season ticket for train travel, so I have decided I can travel in each day. The Double room is at the Travelodge at Waterloo which is in a lovely quiet area and just a 25 minute tube journey to Hammersmith. It has been recently refurbished as well so the hotel itself is also nice and clean and new. Unfortunately for me, I had not forseen this situation so cannot just cancel the room which is already paid for.
For the entire week Monday 9th to Sunday 15th (so check out on Monday 16th), I am willing to sell at cost of £210 (to book the same room at the same hotel now would cost £331.70!). I stayed here myself last year and would thoroughly recommend it.
I may consider splitting it into two: Monday to Thursday nights inc. £120 Friday to Sunday nights inc. £120 Available to established SWPP members only please.
Regards Chris

Hello Chris
Are you sure you can't cancel rooms up to 24 hours before??

You can cancel them, but you cannot get any money back if booked on the saver rate which these were.
Thanks anyway Susan.

They charge a premium for the option to cancel. They are the EasyJet of the budget hotel world. I hope you sell the rooms Chris.

Thanks Kevin. With the season ticket on the train paid for it just seemed daft if I can recoup my outlay. It is a cracking hotel for the money as well. I always stay there if I need to stop over in London for work or leisure.
Cheers.

If you do not manage to sell just now Chris just keep refreshing the page with an update that it is still available, because there are panic stations nearer the time for people who leave it too late to get a hotel which is close to the venue. Faye.

To those of you are considering hotels worth checking now, I have noticed they are starting to creep up now and some are rocketing up.
Hotel I paid quite a bargain price for are double the price this year and that was a tatty place 20 minutes walk away. Wont get anything else in this price range for that week.

I'm showing my ignorance here, but how do you sell-on a room? When checking in, don't you have to show the credit card that the booking was made with?
Iain.

With Travelodge you just have to have the booking references for each night booked. That's what I will pass on to the buyers.
