Hi,

My name is Emma-Jane Im a new member since about Christmas time (the week between christmas and new year where it does not feel like you are living in the real world!)

I live in Tavistock but study and work in Plymouth. I am on my final year of a youth and community work degree hoping to go into a PGCE. I originally started photographic life off as a model shooting with most local photographer: Clive Figes, Louise Sumner etc etc.. I enjoyed the modelling as it sparked a creative passion but not quite enough... I have always been increadiably creative ever since school (Even now I wear bold color and about two rings adorn each finger!), being an only child however my parents wanted a 'stable' career. I t wasnt until starting university and getting into the photographic world that I realised that this is where my passions lie.

I shadowed photgraphers, other stuff has been self taught, (photoshop was a blagging my way through a job that required knowledge of photoshop without having a clue how the programme worked I said yes of corse, hey I needed the money being s tudent, so this was where most of my training came from. If any of you do want to know they actaully kept me on for a while so I must have been doing something right!) built up my portfolio during my second year and now I am in my third year and the business is set up and slowely bringing in work.

Please check out my work, new website and let me know your thoughs www.emma-janephotography.co.uk.

If you are still alive from reading this long drivel then thank you Smiley
