How many of you have done or are doing the GNR this year. I did it 8 years ago and i remember it was incredibly fun and am really looking forward to this years. would be great to see who else is doing it or thinking about it.

Hi,

I'm not doing the Great North Run but I am running the Portsmouth Coastal Half Marathon on Sunday, the Steyning Stinger Half Marathon on the 4th March and then the Brighton Marathon on the 15th April http://www.justgiving.com/BeaneyRunning

I also have a running blog http://pancakemuddypaws.blogspot.com, keeping a blog has certainly helped me keep my training on track !

The GNR was my first ever half marathon and I'm so glad that it was. The atmosphere of the event and the support from the North East residents is amazing.

You won't regret it! Good luck and enjoy
