I'm new to the forum and fairly new to photography, I love portraiture and am aiming towards licentiate.
So far I've been reading lots of books and finding out what I can through the web along with lots of practice, I've also started reading an old distance learning course hubby had hiding away and although I won't be able to send away any coursework for feedback I am following the course as if I was doing it for real.
I will be booking on various workshops soon and hopefully learning a lot here!
Right now I'm just taking pics for free for friends, family and friends of friends to build a portfolio, hopefully soon I'll be charging people.
Looking forward to getting to know you all and hopefully picking your brains and learning a lot from you all.

Welcome Bethany. It is definitely a crazy place here but sure you will get lots of support. They are a great bunch. I joined a little while ago and have had so much support.
