Saturday: 1800 - 2000 hrs

My masterclass 'Wireless Weddings' will showcase and demonstrate how I use the wireless off-camera capabilities of the modern flashgun. This has completely changed the way I shoot with flashguns. It is great fun and produces amazing results quickly and efficiently without having to carry tons of equipment. You'll see how I expose and shoot images without a flash meter, sync lead, power cables anywhere near me. My set up is extremely portable and light weight and I can literally set up and start shooting within 5 minutes or so. Adjusting the exposure, balancing ambient v flash light, using flash as my main light or as my fill light, shoot in harsh mid day sun or during a dark winter's evening, pretty much everything will be covered.

There will be a model and a set up of 1,2 and 3 off-camera flashguns. I'll also go through how I shot the 'Cover' for the Convention Guide at the London Eye and will show my portfolio of images shot using this technique at a wedding starting from the bride's home right through to the 1st dance.

Once mastered, you can use off-camera flash anywhere, anytime. Whether it is a wedding, on-location portrait session, corporate or sporting event, balls, etc, you'll see how it is all done.

I use Nikon, however, if you are using any other brand / system, it does not matter, the principles remain the same i.e creating 'directional lighting' from a light source.

Look forward to seeing you there.

Hi Oz

I've started using the SB800's wirelessly since getting your (excellent and very reasonable) DVD and seeing you work at Nikon Solutions, and I have got great results both at weddings and the many black-tie type events I cover each year.  I now show the SB800 with the Lastolite Ezybox at the System Insight 'Event Photography for Profit' Training Courses as an viable alternative to standard studio lighting.

As a 'Masterclass Presenter' myself this year, any chance of 'sneaking in at the back' on yours - I am sure I will pick up some new ideas!

See you at the bar - pint of Strongbow please  Grin

Best wishes
