I love my iPhone as most of us that have one do. For a few days it's been playing up. Running slowly and iTunes refuses to recognise it. So I went online and did all the things they recommended. Like resetting everything. Nope - So delete all data etc (Argghh but it's backed up). Nope - but when I uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled it recognised it once and restored it. But then next time I went to sync it hung again. So in the end I rang Carphone Warehouse and asked if they'd had any others with the same problem. Oh yes, he said. Mine did that. We'll send it back for you. Okay? Well it would be but they want it for two weeks!!

I'll be lost. ;(

My thoughts exactly David.  I've had problems with my kids iPods.  I don't trust Apple computers any more than pc's.  In fact, I want nothing to do with Apple ever since I registered with iTunes when we got the kids their iPod's and now can't unsubscibe to their annoying emails.  The unsubscribe page can't be found and I can't find a way to contact anyone about it.  So I won't be buying any Apple products any time soon.

I have an iMac, a Powerbook, 2 iPods and an iPhone and I love all of them!

As a side note, when I first read the topic title I miss understood it due to my connections with the urban dance scene where "sick" means really good! hehehehe

@ Peachy, I agree with Jay - I wouldn't go through CPW - take it direct to an Apple Store - it should speed things up considerably for you. Don't forget CPW will just take extra time to send it to Apple, then get it back from them.

@ Christina, I am concerned about the amount of emails you are receiving from Apple. I have bought several Apple products over the past couple of years and apart from the iTunes weekly email keeping me up-to-date with new music (which is easily unsubscribed from) the only emails I have ever received from Apple have been concerning deliveries and containing receipts for the items I purchased.

Can you be more specific about what the contents are and I'll see if I can suss out a way to unsubscribe from them for you. It is my understanding that no regular email / newsletter is allowed to be sent out without an unsubscribe feature now.

Not sure if there's an apple store near me but I'm sure there's an 02 in Aylesbury. Might take it to them first. Poor thing is really sluggish today. Bit like me.
