Grin Geoff, Just looked at the winning images on your web site and they are brilliant, love the press & pr the best...........superb.  Just off to the bookies to collect my winnings (had the pr image down as a winner.....

But RAF Lyneham is in Wiltshire not the other one, that's Brize.Norton................I'm ex RAF Geoff so a bit finicky on this..........LOL. I'll let you off cos I know you're thrilled.

Well deserved.  Grin Roll Eyes

Is there a way of finding out what comments were made about individual photos and a list of scores etc

Hi there,

I'm still in complete shock but here is the image that initially won the Wedding Category and went on to be the Overall Winner.

Well done to all of the other winners, especially Stu and the other category winners.

Many congrats to everyone that won (especially to Oz & Bev coz I know them!)!

Paul's "landscape 'tog of the year" image is on our blog, as are images of our two merits from the 20x16 competition. (http://amorphiaphotography.bigfolioblog.com/)

Congratulations to you and Paul too!  It would have been good to finally meet you but we only had a couple of hours and I didn't have your number.  Still a good excuse for a holiday to Cyprus  Grin

Hi - I got a merit AND an award and it was my only entry and first time. But.... noone told me and so I wasnt there to receive the award. still waiting to be told actually - just so happened a friend of mine was there......

Very excited and pleased but would have loved to have been able to be there and receive the award. I was NOT being rude by not attending - just ignorant!

Nonetheless am hugely encouraged and delighted I decided to join the SWPP at last... maybe next year Ill go to the awards dinner regardless (and be totally unplaced....)

That has happened to me before in other competitions arjayw45. I still think it is good that no one knows until the awards night when everyone is sitting down and ,ahem, lubed up.  Surprises are nice!

Good stuff. Congratulations and amazing photos - naturally. I just cant do sport and am in awe of those who can capture it.

Silly and self centred question. But...since I wasnt at the awards does anyone know when/how/where I will get my rosette/trophy/prize? I havent been notified by anyone and am worried they will think cos I wasnt there I dont care....Huh?!!!

No....seems too much like Im only after the "prize" rather than the acknowledgement. Since Im so new to all this I dont want to seem impatient....
