If that is where Shrek lives in Scotland and photographers lock their keys in the boot of very flashy new cars then yes, I think I must be the same one.

oi Juan, we don't talk about the keys anymore ok!!!!

In reply to the original question is it worth attending.  I first attended in Liverpool, then Coventry and now London.  I enjoy attending, at first for the lectures morning till night and now I only attend 3 or 4 lectures having checked out exactly the topics I am interested in.  Last year for me was marketing and album design Julie Cialone's Hip Hop Marketing great and equally David Williams album design, thanks again to them.  Focus is great but having time to really take in the specic trade stands you are interested in and even enjoy a glass or two in the bar with a few of them, so much more sociable.  That is what I would end on that I have met members who are non professional and full time professional and enjoy their company and look forward to seeing them in January.

If you haven't been to an SWPP convention prepare yourself to be inspired. It is a grand international event with educational opportunities from speakers from many countries so you get a really good look at what photographers are doing all over the world. You will learn a lot by meeting up with fellow attendees and sharing your work and ideas as well. The trade show features businesses from everywhere - you're going to get a lot of great ideas plus show discounts! AND, it's a lot of fun!

The SWPP 2007 convention was so fare the single best education and inspiration event I have attended - and her in 2008 I'll be back for more - and give a Master Class in "Creative play" my self - and be mentor too.

I am realy looking forward- even it means my assistent is going to handle a wedding fare on her own (trust her  Smiley )

The inspiration and education is so "packed", that I can hardly imagine a way to get more of it in such a short time - it's a must, that I have warmly recomended to my fellow danish photographers a several occations.

The "bunch" of master classes gives you a unique chance to "shop around" in speaks and inspiration. But do not forget the trade show also present a lot

In the future I would rather go to SWPP convention than f.ex. Photokina...

Last year was my first year at the conference. It was inspiring to stand next to the 'Masters' and see how they not only shot but also to observe how they approached a shoot. I didn't go to the Sat party and didn't go the the awards banquet. Shame on me. I now regret it and have signed up for the full week.

Looking forward to meeting you all!!!
