Anyone else had and cold calls from "The Property Partnership in London"?

They did the usual thing of "You asked us to send you an information pack" etc etc

Did some Googling and apparently they get really nasty if you hang up on them and often phone back and threaten you etc.

Will see what happens  Grin

I had a call from them a few weeks ago. A very pushy sales person, way too pushy really. I told him I had not had a pack and please could he send one. He did and I told him a few days later it did not fit my investment strategies for the time being to mind his own business as to what they were. If you look at their web site, it is full of exciting news snippets about the market. They are all years old.

I would not touch with a barge pole to be honest.

I had a call from a very persistent woman today, I just could not get rid of her, some sales people can be such a pain!  I wouldn't mind but I kept telling her I didn't have any money to invest.

I had a call from them and they where hard work but they got the message in the end.

I hate the fact you have to push so hard but in there line they have to sell and in these times its even harder for them i suppose.

After the 3rd call I let them chat without me saying one single word for 4 mins,
than came the barrage of hellos?

No more calls!

There is a big difference between selling, hard selling and pestering... forcibly attempting to sell something to someone who clearly isn't interested falls very much into the latter and that is a practice I have no time for.

I had them a few weeks ago. First of all an Indian call centre phoned me and said they were sending me some details. Then they phoned me back to ask me lots of questions about my business and investments, which I told them were none of their business and would be disclosed only if I felt it necessary. Then a really cheesy guy phoned to say the pack was on it's way. When it arrived, it looked such a load of potential rubbish, full of hope but short on answers. When cheesy bloke phoned back, I politely said thanks, but no thanks, so he started on the "don't you want to get rich..." to which I told him I'm doing perfectly well using my own broker and investment manager, and besides, why did they even think that I would be interested in such a scheme? "You asked for the brochure..", and I explained that I didn't, but his Indian call centre phoned me to confirm my address (they had it anyway) and said that some information would be in the post. When I asked i was told the brochure would explain it all, so I didn't have a clue what was being sent, and if I had, I would have told them at the outset that I wasn't interested. There was a deathly silence then, I like to think that it was as cheesy guy realised that all these "hot" leads he had been provided with by his call centre were perhaps, not that hot.

To be honest, I really enjoyed it, even if I haven't got a broker or an investment manager, and am usually broke anyway!
