I am happy to be able to say that Terrie posted a thread today saying that the scores have re-surfaced and should be available soon. Much credit to her for persevering in what has clearly been a bit of a treasure hunt!

just wanted to say that i was just as annoyed with the missing scores as you lot have been... i entrusted my job to somebody else at the convention and somewhere along the line wires of communication got crossed, it has been a very frustrating!

do not fear.. i will be at the convention next year to oversee the 20x16 and the album judging!

the scores are in the post on their way to me so as soon as i get them i can breathe a sigh of relief.

anybody wanting me to call them with their scores could you PM me? otherwise it will be an email/letter.

Thanks, Terrie. I think a new baby is a reasonable excuse not to be there! Take care

Personally, I think my album designs are excellent. So do my clients and the people I meet at wedding fairs. So as far as self analysis and personal feedback goes I'm totally happy. I just feel for the amount spent in entering the competition the least that could be done is give us our scores. Anyway, we all learn from experience so I simply wont enter again.

Wow, so even though you know your albums are excellent are you not interested in seeing other people's take on things.  Learning by experience is the only way, I agree with you, but that's why looking at other people's work is also important as well as having people critiquing yours.  Just because there was a hiccup this year doesn't mean there will be next.

That should work on this principle: the more you are exposed to work better than yours, the better your work will become  Smiley

Yes...isnt that the whole point of this thread? We entered a competition but didnt get the critique we were expecting. So now we are enquiring where or if we can obtain it.
