This might seem like a dumb question but do Gold winners automatically go into the competition or do they have to be entered seperately?

Phil the 20x16 is a different competition judged on printed images.  All monthly golds go through to a final judging but it is a different competion with separate awards.  I hope this helps.

yes Bev you are correct, the monthly image competition and the 20x16 competition are two seperate competitions.

you CANNOT enter images from the monthly images into the 20x16 compeition unless they have been changed/digitally manipulated significently.

we are ready to start receiving everybodys entries, it might be an idea to get it out of the way before the wedding season starts... Christmas will be upon us before you know it and the closing date is a lot earlier this year (December 1st NOT 31st like previous years)

Glad they arrived! We were going to send more but as I mentioned we had a bit of an accident with my finger bleeding everywhere and messed up the other prints! Roll Eyes Maybe we'll reprint the others and send you a few more or else I'll just knuckle down to sorting an album out on cd instead... much safer!!

Terrie, with mounting, can this be prints on board from the likes of Loxleys?  The kind that you can put a border around but it's all one - Loxley categorise them as competition prints.  Or do the prints need an actual mount board on them?

Thanks

Zoe we have always gone for the Loxley board mounted prints.  A few that I saw at the judging had mounts on the prints (and did seem to score well on presentation) but as far as I am aware it is optional.
