I've not used bob books but have used:

Would recommend them for the price vs quality.

Stay away from Bob books unless you want to go out of business.
They might just be OK if you give your clients proofs to view.
But not as a wedding album, No way!

I recently made a book from some shoots I took at my daughters graduation day using Bob Books and was pleasently surprised with both the quality and speed, about seven days from upload to delivery.  The software was easy to use and the whole process relatively simple, so for me there wasn't a problem and I will certainly try them again.

But you wouldn'y use them as a wedding album would you?

Maybe it was just the one I had, the print quality was OK but the book just looked tacky and cheap.
It reminded me of one of those 'Ladybird' books I used to get when I was in playschool (200 years agao).

I would ,however ,recommend Hofmann for a cheap alternative.

Hi Karl,

No I wouldn't use one as wedding album and I agree they also remind me of the 'Ladybird' books, but I was happy with my one and for what they are I still think they're worth a try.

I am currently making one of these as a present for a friend.  I have not seen the album yet but the the design process is very good.  I'd not consider swapping them for current wedding alums but for holiday photos etc I think they are a great idea.

I've used myphotobook a few times now.  I did a yearbook for a secondary school and also a celebration of life in images in another.  Their quality is very good, but they do take quite a long time to deliver the finished item AND although they have a really good quality of binding etc, I don't think they are suitable for weddings - more coffee table budget - better than Photobox in that respect though.
