As New 15 metre (' approx) Easy Up AP1500 aerial photography mast. Selling due to change of circumstances.

I would much rather a Society Member have this than putting it on eBay !

Take aerial photographs from the ground (Ground Based Aerial Photography ). A great business  opportunity.

The Easy UP AP1500 mast and supporting quadpod is manufactured from high quality, aircraft grade aluminium for ultra lightness.
All parts are anodised or powdercoated.

The mast can be extended manually to any heights from 2 meters up to 15 meters. Its retracted height is just 2 meters long,
which makes it very easy to handle and transport.

Kit includes Remote pan and tilt head ( the same or similar to the unit in an article in the latest Professional Image Maker Magazine)
complete with controller and extension leads, Ball and socket head, 4 x guy lines, pegs, soft head mallet, Velcro cable ties,
USB extension leads. Additional guy point for half height. 4x Sandbags to fit the Quadpod legs.
The extension leads have been taped together and bound in spirowrap to create one easy to use extension cable.
Also included is a vehicle mount which fits on your tow bar, a bag for the mast and Quadpod and bag for the head, cables etc.

All you need is a compatible camera, any camera that supports remote capture, I used a Canon G9 and a laptop computer.

This cost over £1500 new. Check out the manufacturers website at  www.aerialphotographymast.co.uk

PRICE: £950 ono.

Buyer will need to collect as its to big to put in the post !!!!

Cheers

A great business opportunity for somebody looking to diversify.

You can do aerial shots of people as well as buildings, sites, gardens etc.

The last job I used this on was for a school birthday celibration.

I did a photograoh of all the kids in the school sat together forming the number 40. V Cool !!

It's also useful for the large wedding group shot where there are no convenient windows to lean out of.  We considered buying one a couple of years ago for this but hired one just once in that time so there was no tangible business case for it.  We did consider purchasing one and then advertising it for hire when we weren't using it, but none of the full timers on the cooperative felt it was worth the extra work.  We decided the same on staging and kept Munchies details on file as he hires his out.  So far we haven't had a need for staging either though.  I think that's a good price though Adrian.  Do you know if it can be made compatible for digital SLR's?  I've seen another advert for one of these and I couldn't understand why with the right accessories it couldn't accommodate any camera setup.

Spoke to the other half and unfortunately the answer is no we don't need it.

As far as I can see any camera that is capable of remote capture will work. The pan / Tilt head is pretty rugged and the mast itself could easily cope with a DSLR. As long as you use USB to connect to the laptop, no problem.
